Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 17
This chapter contains a parable with a prophetic meaning for Judah (v.3-8). It’s explained in v.11-21.
Babylon (v.3. great eagle) took the king of Judah, Jehoiachin (v.4. top twig of cedar tree), and others to Babylon (v.4. city of merchants) as captives. Then it made a covenant with Zedekiah (v.5. vine seed of land) to rule in Jerusalem (v.5. fertile field) but to not be lifted up (v.6. be of low stature).
But Zedekiah broke that covenant by asking Egypt (v.7. another great eagle) to help him rebuild his kingdom (v.8. become a majestic vine) again. God asked if Zedekiah will thrive or wither (v.9-10). God’s answer was that he will wither (v.10).
In the end, God says He would take a tender twig (Jesus) and plant it in Israel, and it will become a majestic cedar (Millennial Kingdom) (v.22-24).

この章には、ユダに関する預言的な意味を持つたとえ話（3-8節）があります。その叙説は11-21節にあります。
バビロン（3節、大鷲）は、ユダの王ヨヤキン（4節、杉の木の若枝）と他の人々を捕虜としてバビロン（4節、商人の町）に連れて行きました。そしてバビロンはゼデキヤ（5節、ぶどうの種）と契約を結び、エルサレム（5節、肥えた土地）を統治させるが、高く上げられない（6節、たけは低い）という条件付きでした。
しかしゼデキヤは、エジプト（7節、もう一羽の大きな鷲）に助けを求めて王国を再建しようとして（8節、見事なぶどうの木となり）、その契約を破りました。神はゼデキヤが栄えるか、それとも枯れるか尋ねました（9-10節）。神の答えは、彼は枯れるというものでした（10節）。
最後に、神は柔らかい若枝（イエス）を摘み取ってイスラエルの高い山に植えると、それは見事な杉の木（千年王国）に成長すると言われました（22-24節）。
Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 17
In this chapter we see the famous story of the Mt. of Transfiguration. This mountain symbolizes the LDR because Jesus said in Mark 9:1 that some (Peter, James and John) would see the kingdom of God present with power before they die, and soon after, He showed them the Mt. of Transfiguration vision.
We have the kingdom of God now on earth, but in the endtime, it will be present with power, with Elijah and Moses also there! So, the Mt. of Transfiguration is a prophetic picture of what the Rev 11 two witnesses’ (Elijah and Moses) ministry will be like!
Elijah and Moses will not be just 2 individuals, but they’ll be the LDC, ministering in authority to punish enemies, stop rain and cause plagues! Awesome power! For what? To oppose worship of AC’s image, like Elijah opposed Baal worship, and save people from Satan and AC, as Moses saved Israel from Pharaoh!

この章では、有名な変容山の物語が描かれています。この山は終末教会の象徴です。なぜなら、イエスはマルコ9:1で、ある人々（ペテロ、ヤコブ、ヨハネ）が死ぬ前に神の国が力を持って到来するのを見るだろうと語られた直後、変容山の幻を３人に見せたからです。
私たちは今、地上に神の国がありますが、終末には、エリヤとモーセもそこにいて、御国が力を持って到来します。つまり、変容山は、黙示録11章の二人の証人（エリヤとモーセ）の働きがどのようなものかを預言的に表しているのです。
エリヤとモーセは単なる二人の人間ではなく、終末教会として、敵を罰し、雨を止め、災いを引き起こす権威を持って宣教するのです。なんとすさまじい力でしょう！何のためかというと、エリヤがバアル崇拝に対抗したように、終末教会は反キの像崇拝に対抗し、モーセがイスラエルをパロから救ったように、終末教会は人々をサタンと反キから救うのです。
