Devotion 1 of 2: Jer 14
False prophets were saying Judah would not see sword or famine, but instead they would have peace (v.13). This was about whether Babylon would invade Judah or not. But the Lord answered that although the prophets prophesied in His name, He had not sent them, and they were prophesying deceit. He even declared the false prophets would die by the sword and famine (v.14-16)! In other words, they would die by Babylon’s invasion.
Once more, Babylon represents AC in the endtime. And false prophets represent sincere but misguided Christian leaders saying the church will not face AC because Jesus will rapture us before AC appears. But I believe this is a false teaching, and many Christians will fall away when AC appears and begins persecuting them. So, I feel God is telling me to warn believers to not be deceived, but to prepare themselves so they can overcome AC.

偽預言者たちは、ユダは剣や飢饉に遭うのではなく、平安が訪れると言っていました（13節）。これは、バビロンがユダを侵略するかどうかについてでした。しかし、神は、預言者たちは主の名において預言したが、主は彼らを遣わしておらず、彼らは偽りの預言をしている、と答えました。神は偽預言者が剣と飢饉で死ぬとさえ宣言しました（14-16節）。つまり、彼らはバビロンの侵略で死ぬのです。

Devotion 2 of 2: Acts 14
In v.15b-17, Paul said that God has allowed nations to “walk in their own ways,” meaning “develop their own religions.” But God also showed His goodness toward mankind through blessings from nature. And now God is calling for mankind to turn from their religions to Himself, the living Creator God.
In Japan’s oldest book, “Kojiki,” we discover an ancient God called “Ameno Minaka Nushi” (天之御中主神). He was one of the 3 Gods (the other 2 being Takami Musubi “高御産巣日神” and Kami Musubi “神産巣日神”) who were said to be born at the time of the creation of heaven and earth. I believe this ancient story may have come from the people who split apart from the Tower of Babel and eventually came to Japan. They knew something about the God who was the Lord in the Center of Heaven, but eventually it became twisted into the 8M gods story with Amaterasu Omikami “天照大御神” being the Sun Goddess who created Japan. In the LDR, let’s believe God will lead millions of Japanese from this religion to the living Creator God!
