Devotion 1 of 2: Jer 10
The focus in this chapter is on the sin of idolatry in Judah. In v.1-5, Jeremiah prophesies that the Jews should not learn from the Gentiles, but, sadly, they did. They cut a tree down, carve it into an idol, decorate it with silver and gold, then worship it! They fear it, even though it cannot do any evil or good!
By contrast, in v.6-16, Jeremiah declares there is none like the Lord, King of the nations. He is the true, living and everlasting God!
But in the endtime, mankind will be severely tested by AC’s image. The False Prophet will give breath to the image, meaning he will make it come alive and make it speak! How will he be able to do this? AI may play an important part in making the image seemingly come alive. It will be so captivating that the world will willingly worship it!
Let’s remember idolatry was Judah’s downfall! Let’s never be deceived, even by an AI-powered idol!

Devotion 2 of 2: Acts 10
This chapter is the record of the first time Peter comes into contact with Gentiles, shares the gospel and sees them get saved. This is an important event in the history of the church because Peter testifies about it at the Jerusalem Council, and it helps the leaders to decide to accept Gentiles without demanding circumcision (Acts 15:7-11).
Actually, this was not the first time the gospel was preached to Gentiles. Philip had preached to the Samaritans in Acts 8, and a revival broke out, and many Samaritans got saved and even received the baptism of the Holy Spirit through the prayers of Peter and John (Acts 8:4-17). Another time a Gentile was witnessed to was when the Holy Spirit directed Philip to talk to the eunuch from Ethiopia in Acts 8:26-39.
God wants people from every nation to hear the gospel and get saved! Let’s have the same heart and work for world evangelism!
