Devotion 1 of 2: Jer 1
This book is written by Jeremiah, a mighty prophet of God who gives us a closeup view of Judah before its captivity to Babylon. This timing makes this period a prophetic picture of the endtime with King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon being a type of AC, Judah a type of the lukewarm church and Jeremiah a type of the LDC.
In v.1-3, we see the 3 main kings under whom Jeremiah worked: Josiah, Jehoiakim and Zedekiah. Josiah was a good king, but Jehoiakim and Zedekiah were evil kings. This shows the need for good, spiritual leaders in the church so that believers will be led in the right direction.
In v.5b, God says, “I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” The LDC is called by God to be a prophetic voice to the world to warn about AC and to give directions about what to do in the extreme time of crisis that they will face. Through this book, let’s learn about our role in the endtime as the Jeremiah of the 21st century!

Devotion 2 of 2: Acts 1
This is the chapter from which the vision for our “10 Days of Prayer until Pentecost” was birthed! In v.1-8, Jesus gives His last instructions to His followers, and in v.4 He told them “…to wait for the Promise of the Father, which you have heard from Me.” They waited and prayed 10 days until the Day of Pentecost when God’s promise was fulfilled in Acts 2.
The disciples waited for God’s promise to pour out the Holy Spirit on all flesh based on Joel 2:28-32. We are waiting for God’s promise in Rev 7:9, 14, of the endtime revival to be fulfilled. “9 …behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues… 14 These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”
Of course, the endtime revival will also begin with the Holy Spirit being poured out upon God’s people who are seeking Him for this promise to come to pass! So, let’s pray every month for the LDR, at 10-11PM, from the 1st to the 10th!
