Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 140
One verse that caught my attention was v.7b, “You have covered my head in the day of battle.” Our head, or our thinking, needs protection when we fight against our enemy, Satan. He tries to plant seeds of doubt, negativism and anger in our minds. If we continue to take in more negative thoughts, the seeds will grow and eventually become strongholds that control our thinking and behavior and become very difficult to get free from.
A famous Bible teacher, Joyce Meyer, wrote her testimony in her best-selling book, “Battlefield of the Mind.” She had been sexually abused by her father for many years, so Satan built many strongholds of low self-esteem, self-hatred, and hate for her father, and all men in general in her mind. She tried to kill herself several times.
After leaving home at 18, she miraculously became a Christian and began the slow process of removing the strongholds of anger and hate within her. She slowly transformed into a dynamic Bible teacher who brings inspiration to millions of how it’s possible to change their thinking through the Word of God! Let’s cover our heads!

私の注意を引いた聖句は、7節b、「あなたは戦いの日に私の頭を覆ってくださいました（英訳）」でした。 私たちの頭、つまり考えは、敵であるサタンと戦うときに保護される必要があります。 サタンは、私たちの心に疑い、否定主義、怒りの種を植えようとします。 私たちがさらに否定的な考えを取り入れ続けると、その種は成長し、最終的には私たちの考えや行動を支配する要塞となり、そこから抜け出すのが非常に難しくなります。
有名な聖書教師であるジョイス・マイヤーは、ベストセラーの本「思考という名の戦場」で自分の証しを書いています。 彼女は父親から何年も性的虐待を受けていたため、サタンは彼女の心の中に低い自尊心、自己嫌悪、父親や男性全般に対する憎しみの要塞を数多く築きました。 彼女は何度も自殺を図りました。
18歳で家を出た後、彼女は奇跡的にクリスチャンになり、自分の中にある怒りと憎しみの要塞を取り除くゆっくりとしたプロセスを始めました。彼女は少しずつ、神の言葉を通して考え方を変えることが可能だという希望を何百万人もの人々に伝える、ダイナミックな聖書教師へと変貌を遂げました。私たちも頭を御言葉で覆いましょう！
Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Thess 5
V.2-3 say, ‘For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.’ I believe these 2 verses will take place like in the endtime as described below.
According to Rev 11:2-12, two witnesses, who symbolize the LDC, will prophesy for 3.5 years. They will judge their enemies by fire from their mouths (words of judgment). They will also have authority to cause many plagues. Through this authority to judge evil, they will torment their foes and spread revival around the world.
But the AC (antichrist) will kill them. The world will rejoice and cry out, “Peace and safety!” But after 3.5 days, suddenly the LDC will resurrect, then be raptured all over the world! This will take place in the middle of the tribulation. After this will be the 2nd half of the tribulation, a time of great destruction and the wrath of God.
Let’s seek the Lord to help us understand God’s endtime plan, save many from judgment and lead to salvation!

2-3節には、「主の日が夜中の盗人のように来るということは、あなたがた自身がよく承知しているからです。人々が「平和だ。安全だ」と言っているそのようなときに、突如として滅びが彼らに襲いかかります。ちょうど妊婦の産みの苦しみが臨むようなもので、それをのがれることは決してできません。」私は上の2節が下記にあるように実現するではないかと思います。
黙11:2-12によると、終末教会を象徴する2人の証人が3年半預言します。彼らは口から出る火 (裁きの言葉) で敵を裁きます。また、多くの災いを引き起こす権威も持っています。この悪を裁く権威によって、彼らは敵を苦しめ、世界中にリバイバルを広めます。
しかし、反キリストが彼らを殺します。世界は喜び、そして、その時に「平和だ、安全だ」と叫びます。しかし、3日半後、突如として、終末教会が復活し、世界中で携挙されます！これは患難時代の最中に起こります。その後は患難期の後半、災害と神の怒りと裁きの時代になります。
神の終末の計画を理解し、多くの人を裁きから救い、イエスに導くために、主に助けと力を求めましょう！
