Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 132
David had a strong vision that motivated him. He suffered afflictions for it (v.1). He wasn’t interested in living in a comfortable house or giving his eyes sleep until he fulfilled his vision! What was it? It was to find, or build, a dwelling place for the Lord (v.3-5).
In the end, God didn’t allow David to build Him a dwelling place, or temple; He gave that task to David’s son, Solomon. But He did allow David to build a temporary dwelling place for God, a tabernacle for the Ark of the Covenant. It became known as the Tabernacle of David, or DT. And it became God’s temporary dwelling place, built in Zion, the City of David (v.13-14).
Although not large or beautiful, DT was given a significant and powerful calling to be a type of how Israel and also the church would fall and then be restored in the last days. Furthermore, it is one of the most glorious pictures of God’s astounding endtime plan of restoration and world-wide revival!
I believe, like David, we, too, should have a strong vision that will captivate and set us on fire. That way, we’ll do everything we can to see that vision come to pass. I believe our vision should be to become the fully restored church, the glorious, revival church of the last days (LDC). Furthermore, we should make that vision real and concrete. That way we’ll be more motivated to pray and believe for its fulfillment.
For example, our vision could be something like this: First, experience the LDR Movement, then become a fully restored, glorious LDC and raise up 100 leaders to be John 14:12 believers, doing Jesus’ works. These leaders could lead 5,000 people to Christ, and raise up 3000 John 14:12 leaders, who can build 2,000 churches throughout Japan and 1,000 churches overseas. In total, we may win and disciple 3M people in Christ! But actuality, there is no limit to what God can do! I would like to have a vision like that!

Devotion 2 of 2: Mark 13
Jesus tells His disciples about what will happen in the last days in this chapter. The event that captures my attention is found in v.10, “And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations.” This is speaking of the LDR. The church will be fully restored to glory and power and will take revival to the whole world and accomplish the Great Commission.
So, because of AC’s persecutions, the last days will be a time of testing, but it will also be the time of the greatest harvest of souls in history with an uncountable number of people saved from all nations! Let’s keep our eyes on this wonderful promise and pray and prepare ourselves for the endtime harvest.
