Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 122

V.6a says, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.” I believe the best way to pray for the peace of Jerusalem is to pray for Jews to be saved and have peace in their hearts toward God. This is the final goal of their restoration, and this prayer will certainly be answered when Jesus returns to the Mt. of Olives, and the Jews finally recognize Him as their Messiah (Zech 12:10; 13:1).
While we should also pray for Israel to have physical and political peace, especially during times of conflict with their Arab neighbors, we must also realize that the Bible says that Israel will experience wars until the very end. In fact, according to Rev 14-19, this world age will end with the horrendous Battle of Armageddon (Rev 16:16), with AC and his coalition of nations invading Israel and killing 2/3 of the Jews (Zech 13:8-9) before Jesus returns to save them and defeat AC (Zech 12:9; Rev 19:11-21)!
Another point to remember is that many Bible scholars believe that Dan 9:27 prophesies that AC will make a peace treaty with Israel for 7 years but will break it in the middle and then attack Israel and start Armageddon! If this is true, praying for peace for Israel without Biblical discernment may actually lead us to fall into AC’s deception of a false peace for Israel!
Let’s pray for Israel’s salvation and spiritual peace with Jesus, their Messiah!

デボーション1/2：Ps 122

6a節には「エルサレムの平和のために祈れ。」とあります。エルサレムの平和のために祈る最善の方法は、ユダヤ人が救われ、神に対して心に平和があることを祈ることだと私は信じています。これがユダヤ人の回復の最終目標であり、イエスがオリーブ山に戻り、ユダヤ人が最終的にイエスをメシヤとして認めるときに、この祈りは確実に答えられます(ゼカ12:10、13:1)。
特にアラブ諸国との紛争の時期には、イスラエルが物理的および政治的に平和になるように祈ることも必要ですが、イスラエルが最後まで戦争を経験すると聖書が述べていることも理解しなければなりません。実際、黙14-19章によれば、この世の時代は恐ろしいハルマゲドンの戦い(黙16:16)で終わり、反キとその連合国がイスラエルを侵略し、ユダヤ人の2/3を(ゼカ13:8-9)殺害した後、イエスが戻って彼らを救い、反キを倒します(ゼカ12:9、黙19:11-21)。
覚えておくべきもう1つの点は、多くの聖書学者が、ダニ9:27が反キがイスラエルと7年間平和条約を結ぶが、途中でそれを破棄し、その後イスラエルを攻撃してハルマゲドンを開始すると預言していると考えていることです。これが真実であれば、聖書の識別力なしにイスラエルの平和を祈ることは、実際にはイスラエルの偽りの平和という反キの欺瞞に陥ることにつながる可能性があります。
イスラエルの救いと、彼らのメシヤであるイエスと共に霊的な平和のために祈りましょう。

Let’s continue to see Scriptures that show what the LDR could be like. “And a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, and from Judea and Jerusalem and Idumea and beyond the Jordan; and those from Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they heard how many things He was doing, came to Him… For He healed many, so that as many as had afflictions pressed about Him to touch Him (v.7-8, 10).
Then let’s see what kind of disciples Jesus wants to raise up. “Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons.” (v.14-15).
I believe Jesus wants to make us disciples like in v.14-15, so we can fulfill the Great Commission, preach the gospel to all the world and bring revival for 3.5 years before being martyred and raptured (Rev 11:7-12).
Let’s seek the Lord earnestly to empower us to become His endtime harvest workers in Japan!

マルコ3章: 自由に分かち合いましょう！
終末リバイバルがどのようなものになり得るかを示す聖書の箇所を引き続き見ていきましょう。「ガリラヤから出て来た大ぜいの人々がついて行った。エルサレムから、イドマヤから、ヨルダンの川向こうやツロ、シドンのあたりから、大ぜいの人々が、イエスの行っておられることを聞いて、みもとにやって来た。… それは、多くの人をいやされたので、病気に悩む人たちがみな、イエスにさわろうとして、みもとに押しかけて来たからである。」(7-8, 10節)。
では、イエスがどのような弟子を育てたいのか見てみましょう。「そこでイエスは十二弟子を任命された。それは、彼らを身近に置き、また彼らを遣わして福音を宣べさせ、悪霊を追い出す権威を持たせるためであった。」(14-15節)。
イエスは、私たちを14-15節にあるような弟子にしたいと願っておられると私は信じています。そうすれば、私たちは大宣教命令を果たし、全世界に福音を宣べ伝え、殉教して携挙されるまでの3年半にわたってリバイバルをもたらすことができるからです（黙11:7-12）。
日本で主の終末の収穫の働き手となるために、私たちを力で満たすように、主を真剣に求めましょう！
