Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 105
V.17-19 say, “He sent a man before them—Joseph—who was sold as a slave. They hurt his feet with fetters, he was laid in irons. Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him.”
This is a good verse to encourage us as we pray for revival in Japan. It says that until God’s word to Joseph was fulfilled, that word tested him. God’s word came to Joseph in the 2 dreams he had in Gen 37:5-11 about his life calling to be a ruler.
But that word was not fulfilled right away. In fact, the opposite happened! Instead of his brothers bowing to him, they sold him as a slave! So, instead of becoming a ruler, Joseph was made into a slave, and then, into a prisoner in jail!
For 13 years, Joseph was tested by those dreams. Were they really from God? Will they ever come true? But Joseph prevailed and kept believing until, one day, he was called before Pharaoh! He interpreted Pharaoh’s dreams, was released from prison, was made 2nd in command in Egypt next to Pharaoh, and fulfilled his dreams! Hallelujah!
In the same way, we want to prevail and keep believing the word of God to us! What is that word? It is that revival will come to every nation, including Japan, during the tribulation (Rev 7:9-14). Let’s believe and continue praying for an uncountable number of souls to be saved in Japan! Amen!

17、19節によれば、「主はひとりの人を彼らにさきがけて送られた。ヨセフが奴隷に売られたのだ。19彼のことばがそのとおりになる時まで、主のことばは彼をためした。」
これは、日本のリバイバルのために祈る私たちを励ましてくれる良い箇所です。ヨセフに対する神のことばが成就するまで、そのことばは彼を試しました。神の言葉は、創世記37:5-11でヨセフが見た2つの夢の中で、自分が支配者になるという召命について語られました。
しかし、その言葉はすぐには成就しなかったのです。それどころか、逆のことが起こってしまいました！兄弟たちはヨセフにひれ伏すどころか、彼を奴隷として売ってしまったのです！つまり、ヨセフは支配者になる代わりに奴隷にされ、さらに牢獄の囚人にされたのです！
13年間、ヨセフは夢によって試されました。それは本当に神からの夢なのか？夢は実現するのだろうか？しかしヨセフは、パロの前に呼び出されるその日まで、信じ続けました！ヨセフはパロの夢を解釈し、牢獄から釈放され、エジプトでパロの次席指揮官となり、夢を実現したのです！ハレルヤ！
同じように、私たちも神の言葉を信じ続け、勝利したいのです！その言葉とは何でしょうか？それは、患難時代に日本を含むすべての国にリバイバルが起こるということです（黙7:9-14）。日本に数え切れないほどの魂が救われるよう、信じて祈り続けましょう！アーメン！
Devotion 2 of 2: Rev 3
In this chapter we find Jesus’ words to the last 3 of the 7 churches of Rev 2-3. The last church is the Laodicean Church (LC) (v.14-22), which will be on the earth in the endtime. But this church is lukewarm, which Jesus cannot stand and says that’s the reason He will vomit them out of His mouth in v.16!
So, is this church hopeless? No, because Jesus tells them in v.18a, “I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire…” I believe this means Jesus will not rapture them at the midtrib rapture together with the overcoming Christians! He will leave them on earth to be refined through the fire of T2, the 2nd half of the tribulation! So, they will go through persecution by AC and fearful calamities of God’s wrath upon sinful mankind (Rev 8-10, 15-20)!
And through the fire of T2, if they repent of their sins, they will be transformed into faithful disciples of Christ. They will be refined as gold so they can meet Jesus at His 2nd coming on Mt. Olives at the end of T2! Let’s pray for all Christians to repent of lukewarmness and be willing to follow Christ, even through the fire of persecution, so that we can be refined as gold to reflect Jesus’ glory to the world!
デボーション2/2：黙示録3章
この章では、黙2-3章に登場する7つの教会のうち、最後の3つの教会に対するイエスの言葉が記されています。最後の教会は、終わりの時代に地上にあるラオデキア教会（14-22節）です。しかし、この教会は生ぬるく、イエスはそれに耐えられないので、16節でご自分の口から吐き出されると言われています！
では、この教会は絶望的なのでしょうか？いや、イエスは18節で「火で精錬された金をわたしから買いなさい」と言われたからです。これは、イエスが彼らを患難期の真ん中の携挙で、勝利したクリスチャンたちと共に携挙されないことを意味していると私は信じます！イエスは彼らを地上に残し、患難期の後半の火によって精錬されるようにされるのです！そのため、彼らは反キによる迫害と、罪深い人類に対する神の怒りの恐るべき災いを経験することになるでしょう（黙8-10、15-20章）！
そして患難期後半の火を通して、もし彼らが罪を悔い改めるなら、キリストの忠実な弟子に変えられるのです。彼らは金のように精錬され、患難期の終わりにオリーブ山でイエスが再臨される時に主に会うことができるのです！すべてのクリスチャンが、生ぬるい状態を悔い改め、迫害の火の中をも進んでキリストに従うことができるように祈りましょう！
