Devotion 1 of 2: Isa 30
Judah depended on Egypt to protect them from the invasion of Assyria, and then, later on, invasion of Babylon, so God rebuked them for not relying on him (v.1-17). But in v.18-33, he pours his mercy upon his people, promises to bless them and heal their wounds (v.26), and even promises victory over their arch-enemy, Assyria (v.31)!
Let’s pray for Israel to overcome AC in the endtime! Even though 2/3 of the Jews will fall (Zech 13:8-9) at the Battle of Armageddon, let’s pray that the remaining 1/3 will cry out to Messiah and encounter Jesus!

Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Cor 6
Paul gave a powerful testimony in v.4-10 of the hardships he endured to preach the gospel. What strengthened Paul so that he didn’t give up and quit the ministry? It was the knowledge he had of what awaited people who did not come out from the uncleanness of the world and receive the forgiveness of Christ (v.17-18)!
I sometimes pray to God to give me an NDE and show me both hell and heaven so that I can be like Paul and be powerfully motivated to endure anything in order to preach the gospel to AMAP!
