Devotion 1 of 2: Isa 20
In this chapter, Judah was afraid of being attacked by Assyria from the north, so they were looking for protection by Egypt and Ethiopia in the south. But God commanded Isaiah to walk naked and barefoot for 3 years as a sign that Egypt and Ethiopia would be defeated and led captive by Assyria (v.2-4).
God was showing Judah that depending on man’s strength would fail and only depending on God could protect them from Assyria. Later, under King Hezekiah, Judah did call out to God, and the Lord sent an angel, who killed 185,000 Assyrian soldiers in one night, giving Judah a miraculous victory (2 Kings 18-19)!
In our endtime battle against AC, let’s not trust man, but only trust God to defeat the enemy and bring forth revival for Japan!

Devotion 2 of 2: Luke 20
Let’s apply one story in this chapter to the endtime and learn some valuable lessons. In v.1-8, the religious leaders challenged Jesus’ authority to preach and do miracles.
When LDC Christians preach the Word, do miracles, spread revival and raise up churches, the traditional churches may challenge where our authority comes from.
Let’s understand their position: They have seen many movements become extreme and heretical. That’s why they’re questioning us. So let’s answer: “From God,” with love and humility!
Jesus was the Son of God, so he could answer with authority! We're mere humans, so let's answer with humility!
