Devotion 1 of 1: Ps 62
V.11b says, “That power belongs to God.” But v.12a says, “Also to you, O Lord, belongs mercy.” That is such a beautiful balance—power and mercy! The first speaks of ability and strength, and the latter speaks of character and kindness! This is the kind of God we want! Let’s appreciate how wonderful he is!
1 THES 2: Free sharing!
In this chapter we can learn the right way of listening to messages from God. In v.13, Paul says the Thessalonica Church received his messages, not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God! Because of this faith, the messages worked effectively in them (v.13)!
Let’s also receive messages that are anointed by God as God’s word to us!
