Devotion 1 of 2: Deut 18
According to v.21-22, a true prophet will be known by him making prophecies that come to pass. If what he prophesies doesn’t happen, he is not a true prophet.
I want to make a prediction. This is not a genuine prophecy, but a test of whether I am hearing God’s voice on a particular matter or not. I predict that in the US Presidential Race of 2024, Joe Biden will win in a big way over Donald Trump. I predict it will not be a close election but an overwhelming victory.
I want to grow more spiritually so I can hear God’s voice more and more accurately.

Devotion 2 of 2: Rom 2
V.28-29 say that a Jew and circumcision are not determined by outward appearance but by inward faith, which is spiritual in nature. So in the NT age, Israel is not the people of God, but the church is.
But at the end of time, God will work to restore Israel to himself in 3 major steps: 1) Rebirth as a nation, which happened in 1948; 2) Establishment of Jerusalem as their capital, which was completed in 1967, when Israel regained full control of Jerusalem through the 6-Day War; 3) Spiritual rebirth of the Jewish people, which will happen when Jesus returns to earth (Zech 12-14).
Let’s love and pray for the people of Israel to repent of their sins and believe and receive Jesus as their Messiah so their restoration can be completed!
