Devotion 1 of 1: Ex 33
In v.7-11, we see another tabernacle that Moses pitched outside the camp of Israel. This was different than the Tabernacle of Moses, which was located in the middle of Israel’s camp. I believe this 2nd tabernacle represents our Devotional life while the 1st tabernacle represents our church life. When Moses entered this 2nd tabernacle, the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the entrance, and Moses talked with the Lord (v.9)! What a wonderful picture of our devotions! Let’s experience God’s presence coming down upon us and let’s talk with God during our devotions!
EX 34 sharing:
In v.29-35 we see the result of Moses being in God’s presence! His face shone so much with the glory of God that the people were afraid to come near him (v.30)! So Moses had to put a veil over his face to cover the glory! I want to spend time fellowshipping with God so that I am transformed, and people can sense God’s presence in me!
