Devotion 1 of 2: Ex 9

We see the 5th, 6th and 7th plagues upon Egypt in this chapter. One characteristic about these plagues is that they didn’t happen to Israel (v.6, 11, 26). V.11 says the boils were on all the Egyptians, but there’s no mention of the Jews, so I believe they were not affected. This is also true of the 4th, 8th, 9th and 10th plagues. The 8th plague, vegetation-eating locusts, didn’t affect the Jews because they didn’t own any land that had the vegetation, and 10:6 says the locusts filled the houses of all the Egyptians, not the Jews.

In applying this to the LD, this means when we, as the Moses Church, cause plagues against AC’s forces for persecuting us, the plagues won’t affect Christians. Let’s study Exodus well so we will be prepared to gain victory in our battle against AC in the LD!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ex 10

(2/2)
1) The battle between Moses and Pharaoh is a picture of the battle that will take place between the LDC and AC in the LD. Like Moses saved the Jews from Pharaoh, the LDC will try to save people from AC and Satan. But as Pharaoh refused to let the Jews go, the city mayor, upon orders from AC, may close the churches’ worship services. But the LDC will pray, and a plague, for example, like the corona virus, may break out in the city. This will cause the mayor to delete his order and allow churches to gather for worship again.

2) They told Pharaoh to let the Jews go because Egypt was destroyed by the plagues (v.7)! This shows many unbelievers will believe in Christ when they see the authority and power of God displayed through the LDC! Let’s believe that power will work through us to save Japan!
