Devotion 1 of 1: Job 41

1) Leviathan is a creature that has terrible teeth (v.14), scales for skin (v.15), a mouth that breathes out flames (v.21), crashings that frighten other creatures (v.25), protection against spears and arrows (v.26, 28), and lives in the sea (v.31-32). The fire-breathing mouth is not found in any creature alive today, so this animal must be extinct or may be a dragon, which is thought to be an imaginary creature. I’m sorry, but I don’t know what the leviathan is!
2) God says that just as no one would dare to stir up leviathan because he is so huge and powerful, no one should stand against God (v.9-10), which is what Job was trying to do!
