Devotion 1 of 2: Rev 11

Many Bible teachers believe these 2 witnesses are 2 individuals. However, I believe they represent the revival church of the endtime. The main reason is because v.7 and Rev 13:7 talk about the same event. 11:7 says, “…the beast…will make war against them (the 2 witnesses), overcome them, and kill them.” And 13:7 says, “It was granted to him (the beast) to make war with the saints and to overcome them.” My conclusion is that the 2 witnesses and the saints, or the church, are the same.
But another question pops up—doesn’t being killed by AC mean defeat? The answer is, No! The 1st reason is because the 2 witnesses are killed only after “they finish their testimony”! (11:7), which is none other than Matt 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Only after world missions and world revival are accomplished will the LDC be killed!
And the 2nd reason is because their death will lead to the greatest witness of the gospel in history! 3.5 days after dying, they will be resurrected, then taken to heaven before all their enemies (v.11-12)! It will be the most powerful witness for Jesus in history as millions of saints are killed, then resurrected, then raptured before the eyes of the world! I believe tens of millions will be saved as a result!

Devotion 2 of 2: Zech 7

In v.8-10, God told the Jews to show mercy to their brothers and not to oppress the less fortunate, but they made their hearts hard and refused to obey (v.11-12), causing God to scatter them among the nations and making the land desolate (v.14). This is another evidence that the church that enters the Promised Land of world revival in the endtime will only be a church that really practices loving one another!
