v.4: They swallowed up the needy and made the poor of the land fail.
v.5: They couldn’t wait for the Sabbath to pass in order to do business, made the weight less and the profit more and falsified the scales by deceit.
That’s why the Lord declared the end had come for Israel (v.2).

Devotion 2 of 2: Heb 1
1) Description 3 says the Son was the brightness of the Father’s glory and the express image of his person! Many people who have had an NDE and saw Jesus in heaven said a magnificent, brilliant light, a thousand times brighter than the sun emanated from him. but it didn’t hurt their eyes! They added that they felt a tremendous love radiating from Jesus that made them feel completely forgiven and accepted, despite their sins! The Bible says that God is light and God is love, and so is Jesus!
2) God calls Jesus “Lord,” showing the Son’s divinity and authority. The Son created the entire universe with its trillions of stars! And one day he will create a new heaven and new earth but he will remain!
