In Feb 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine and blockaded their Black Sea ports from shipping grain, causing food prices to rise and threatening African and Mid-Eastern nations which depend on Ukraine’s grains. They stopped the blockade in July 2022 but restarted it in July 2023, and have bombed Ukraine’s ports recently, destroying 60,000 tons of grain. This caused many nations to condemn them. V.26 says, “The people will curse him who withholds grain, but blessing will be on the head of him who sells it.” Let’s pray that Russia will change from a nation that is cursed to one that is blessed.
