Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Chron 17
This chapter shows the reward to the person who puts God’s presence foremost in his/her life. David did that by recovering the Ark of the Covenant, the presence of God in Israel, as soon as he became king in chapters 13-16. Now God rewards David by promising to establish his throne forever through his son, Solomon (v.14). I believe when we seek God’s presence, he will establish his kingdom through us in Japan!
