Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Kings 20
Although he experienced a great victory over Assyria, Hezekiah was not a wise king, so when envoys from Babylon visited, he showed them all the treasures in his storehouses (v.12-13). When Isaiah heard this, he prophesied Babylon would carry off everything from the storehouses (v.17)! We must be wise and alert against our enemies, Satan and AC, so we don’t leave any cracks in our defense!
