Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 46
V.9-10 says that when the people entered and left the temple, they had to go through different gates! If they entered the north gate, they had to leave through the south gate, and vice versa. The lesson is that when we go to church and worship God, we will not return in the same condition as we went! We will be changed, little by little, from glory to glory, to become more and more like Jesus!

Devotion 2 of 2: Phil 2
1) There is a brother named Goro in SE. He is very humble and is always serving the church and people. When SE was meeting on Sat. at the Shinjuku Chapel, he would always come early and sweep the street and entrance of the church! For his job, he is a care worker serving elderly and handicapped people. This is a difficult job and can only be done if you are humble and really care about people!
2) I would like to be able to put v.13 more in practice in my life: “…it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” One example is in the area of miracles. I am so weak and limited in faith for healing and signs and wonders. So I know I cannot do miracles. So I want to see God working in me more and more to heal people from pain and suffering and then lead them to Jesus!
