Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 11
The 25 princes of Ezek 11:1 were like the false prophets in Jeremiah! They didn’t believe Jeremiah’s and Ezekiel’s prophecies and believed they were safe from Babylon. Scholars believe what they said in v.3 meant: “It's ok to build houses. Jerusalem is strong like a metal cauldron that will protect us, who are the meat inside.” As Ezekiel and Jeremiah spoke out against these people, we must speak to Christians today. Let's try to correct the dangerous parts of the pre-trib rapture teaching by advising that if the pre-trib rapture doesn't happen, the church will face AC's persecution, so we should train Christians to resist worshiping AC's image or taking his mark!

1) Yes, because Jesus was saying his miracles fulfill Messianic prophecies in Is 35:4-6 and 61:1-2!
2) The LDC will be persecuted and eventually martyred (Rev 11:7; 13:7) as John the Baptist was! We need to be violent and aggressive to take the kingdom by force as John did (v.12)! We will be denounced as John and Jesus were (v.18-19).
