Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 8
When we see what kinds of idolatrous sins Judah was doing, even inside the Temple, we begin to understand why God allowed Babylon to destroy them and take them captive. In the same way, God will allow AC to persecute the church in the endtime to make it hot or cold and not remain lukewarm, which he abhors and declares he will spit from his mouth (Rev 3:14-22)! Thus the church will become the LDC, which will defeat AC and bring world revival for 3.5 years before being martyred (Rev 11:3-13), or become the church that falls away, compromising with AC and escaping persecution but receiving judgment from God later on (Rev 14:9-11)!

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 8
1) The LDC will meet people’s needs by healing all sicknesses and driving out all evil spirits! This will cause the church to grow as many people will be drawn to Jesus!
2) God has made many promises to believers, like we will do the works of Jesus (John 14:12), we will heal the sick and drive out evil spirits (Mark 16:17-18), etc. And 1 Cor 10:1-11 teaches that Israel’s journey back to the Promised Land (PL) was written for those living at the end of the age. As God led Israel back to their PL, he will lead the church to our PL = all the promises he has given to us in the Bible!
