Devotion 1 of 2: 1 Kings 10
1) She had heard many rumors of Solomon’s wisdom and prosperity (v.6-7), so she came to check if the rumors were true or not and also to ask him many questions (v.1).
2) She was overwhelmed and declared that she had not heard even half of what she actually saw (v.6-7).
3) Seekers will hear of Jesus through Christians or other sources and will not believe it, but may become curious and may attend a church service to check Jesus out. When Jesus answers their questions (through the message or testimonies or other means) (v.3), or they are fed by the Word (food, v.5), or see the members serving (servants’ attendance, clothing, etc.) (v.5), or see their worship (burnt offerings) (v.5), they will be overwhelmed (no more breath in her) (v.5), and if they also see joy (v.8), they will believe in God (v.9)!

Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Kings 9
1) Solomon completed building the Temple and God was pleased and promised him his sons would rule as long as they kept God’s rules (v.1-5).
2) Solomon gave Hiram his partner 20 cities in Galilee but when Hiram saw them, he was not pleased with them (v.12).
3) Hiram had given Solomon 120 talents of gold (v.14), but Solomon gave him inferior cities (v.12-13), which betrayed their friendship! Solomon would do the same to God, giving poor obedience compared to the great blessings God poured out upon Solomon’s reign!
