Devotion 1 of 2: Jer 36
1) The LDC should proclaim God’s Word and warn Christians that antichrist will persecute the church and kill many Christians and others who don’t worship his image or take his mark.
2) If lukewarm believers recognize their sins, repent and become hot for Jesus, they will be forgiven and included in the LDR!
3) But many lukewarm believers will reject the warning and not repent, but will fall away, will compromise with antichrist, worshiping his image and taking his mark, and in the end, they will face the wrath of God (Rev 14:9-11).
4) Although rejected by many lukewarm believers, the LDC should persist in warning them about the church not being raptured pre-trib, but having to confront antichrist’s persecution for our own good, to make us hot or cold, and not to stay lukewarm (Rev 3:15-16)!

Devotion 2 of 2: Rom 8
V.1-16 teach that living in the flesh brings defeat but living in the Spirit brings victory! So how do we live in the Spirit? Is it always being filled with the Holy Spirit, full of faith and joy, and not having bad feelings or thoughts? No! Trying to live that way is living under the law, which means we are living in the flesh! So what is living in the Spirit? It is always believing and confessing the Word rather than our thoughts, words or actions (TWA) because our TWA is living by the law, or a standard, or by how righteous we are, which is living by the flesh!
