Devotion 1 of 2: Jer 31
Thu, 3/30
Jer 31 sharing: This is a restoration chapter! God promises to rebuild Israel (v.4a), to gather the remnant from the ends of the earth (v.7b-8) and to bring back Judah’s captivity (v.23)! He also points out their weeping (v.15-16), their bemoaning for their chastisement (v.18) and their repentance and humiliation (v.19), which opened the door for restoration. This is what happened when Hitler exterminated 6M Jews! What 1870 years of diaspora couldn’t do, the Nazis did in 12 years—convince the Jews to return to their land! At Armageddon antichrist will also kill 2/3 of the Jews, as Hitler did, to drive the Jews away from their sins to fall on their knees and cry out to Messiah, which will lead to their salvation and final restoration! Yes, let’s pray for our elder brother, Israel, to come back to God and receive Jesus as their Messiah!

Devotion 2 of 2: Rom 3
1) Both Jews and Gentiles are under sin; there is none righteous, no, not one (v.9-10).
2) God revealed his righteousness apart from the law, which is righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ (v.21-22)
