Devotion 1 of 2: Ruth 3

1) The Jewish people have given us the Bible to instruct about Jesus and how to draw near and please him. If we obey the instructions of the Bible, we will be chosen as Jesus’ bride!
2) We must be washed from our sins by believing in Jesus’ blood (Eph 1:7) and washed in our everyday walk by washing in the water of the Word (Eph 5:26).
3) Perfume: We should spread the aroma of Christ by being filled with the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:26-27).
Oil: We should be filled with the Holy Spirit and joy (Eph 5:18).
4) We should wear white linen robes which are our righteous acts (Rev 19:8).
5) We should submit to Jesus as our Lord (Rom 10:9).
6) It is recognizing Jesus is our covering and us coming under his Lordship.

ルツ3章の答え： 1) ユダヤ人は、イエスについて、また、どのようにイエスに近づき、喜んでいただけるかを指示するために、聖書を与えてくれました。聖書の指示に従うなら、私たちはイエスの花嫁として選ばれるのです!
2) 私たちは、イエスの血潮を信じて罪から洗われ（エペ1：7）、みことばの水で洗うことによって日々の歩みを洗われるべきです（エペ5：26）。
3) 香水：御霊の実に満たされ、至る所でキリストの香りを放つべきです（ガラ5:26-27、2コリ2:14）。
油：聖霊と喜びで満たされるべきです（エペ5：18）。
4) 私たちの正しい行いである白い麻布を着るべきです（黙示録19：8）。
5) 私たちはイエス様を主として従うべきです（ローマ10：9）。
6) イエスが私たちの覆いであり、私たちがイエスの主権の下にあることを認めることです。

1) They were poor.
2) The Law.
3) He backs down because he realizes that he must marry Ruth, who is a Gentile. The Law did not apply to Gentiles so could not be connected to them.
