Devotion 1 of 2: John 13
Verse 28 says that none of the disciples understood why Jesus told Judas, “What you are about to do, do quickly,” in v.27. This shows how lacking in discernment they were. Jesus had just said one of his disciples would betray him, and it would be the one to whom he gave a piece of bread and then he gave Judas the bread in v.21-26! Yet they still didn’t realize that Judas was the one who would betray Jesus! Let’s ask the Lord to help us to discern people’s hearts so we don’t get deceived!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ps 91
This psalm will be a powerful encouragement for the LDC when antichrist persecutes us! Here is a wonderful promise of God’s protection! Verse 7 says 1,000 may fall near us and 10,000 at our right hand, but it will not come near us! This is talking about a plague, but I believe it also applies to capture, beatings, imprisonment, torture, etc.! Just as Peter was released from jail by the angel in Acts 12, God will supernaturally help us to escape from capture!
