The role of the Jews is replaced by the Laodicean Church, which rejects the message of what they were destined for (v.8), which is endtime revival (v.9)! Many Laodicean believers (Rev 3:14-22) will fall away (2 Thes 2:3) and not fulfill their destiny of becoming kings with spiritual authority to heal and deliver and priests who intercede for and lead many to salvation! This is the glorious spiritual house (v.5) that God wants to build in the last days to win multitudes that no one can count (Rev 7:9, 14)!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ps 71
I would like to apply this psalm to our endtime battle against antichrist. In v.13, David prayed for his accusers to perish in shame and those who wanted to harm him be covered with scorn and disgrace. This matches with Rev 11, which describes 2 witnesses in the last days, who are a picture of the LDC. Rev 11:5 indicates If anyone wants to harm the LDC, they will be devoured and killed by fire from the mouth of the witnesses!
