Devotion 1 of 2: 1 Tim 1
One doctrine Paul didn’t want taught was the Law, without really understanding it (v.7), which would end up being Christian Judaism. One doctrine Paul wanted taught was the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to his trust (v.11). This was based on grace (v.14), which Jesus demonstrated by coming into the world to save sinners (v.15).

2 works of Jesus that we should desire: 1) Bind up the brokenhearted (v.1) and 2) Proclaim liberty to the captives (v.1). 2 fruit of Jesus ministry that we should want: 1) Men shall call you Ministers of our God (v.6), 2) For your shame (from persecution, etc.) you shall have double (double portion blessing! v.7).
