Devotion 1 of 2: Isa 2

I think Prophecy 1 refers to the Millennium Age because Zion in Jerusalem will be where Jesus will reign over the nations (v.2-3) and there will be no wars among countries (v.4). And I believe Prophecy 2 refers to the last half of the tribulation because there will be great calamities that will punish rebellious mankind and people will flee to caves to hide from the fearful presence of the Lord (10-21).

Devotion 2 of 2: Luke 2

I think the answer to both questions is that Joseph and Mary married when they found out Mary was pregnant. Matt 1:19 says Joseph considered separating from Mary, but an angel appeared and told him to marry Mary (Matt 1:20-23), so he did (Matt 1:24).That’s why they weren’t stoned and they could travel by themselves. But how can you explain the expression: Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph? I believe the best way to explain that is by interpreting it to mean they did not have physical relationship until after Jesus was born, as Matt 1:25 says, “But he (Joseph) did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son.” So, legally, they were married, but physically and in reality, they were still only engaged and didn’t become a married couple (a couple engaging in physical relationships) until after Jesus was born.
