I'm sorry for being 1 day late in posting my Sun, 6/5's devotions and Mon, 6/6's devotional questions! Here is my Sun, 6/5, devotions. Ps 41 answer: An example of sickness connected with sin in our life is drug addiction. This habit will cause serious health deterioration and oftentimes, even death. One NT Scripture which implies the same thing is John 5:14. Jesus told the man He had healed from lameness to sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon him, implying sin caused his disease in the first place.

Devotion 2 of 2: Ps 42
When we feel overwhelmed by problems and think that God seems to have abandoned us, it’s easy to be downcast. But the wonderful thing about David is that at those times, he would tell himself to hope in God and offer praise to God to lift himself up (v.5 11)! That’s what I want to do, too!
