Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 31
David uses two other expressions for refuge: rock (v.2) and fortress (v.2) to convey how God protected him from his enemies’ attacks and traps (v.4), which were very real and life-threatening! In my life today, perhaps God protected me most by healing me from sickness and by preventing serious car accidents. So, like David, I want to thank God for being a refuge in times of sickness and when driving a car!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ps 32
This psalm encourages us not to hide our sins but to confess them and ask God for forgiveness. If we do so, we will be blessed (v.1-2), but if we don’t, we’ll waste away (v.3-4). Also, when we acknowledge our sins to God, He will forgive! Thank you, Lord!
