Devotion 1 of 2: Ex 7
I believe the expression “God hardened Pharaoh’s heart” doesn’t mean God actually did it. Rather, it means God allowed Pharaoh to harden his own heart. The reason why I believe this is because God doesn’t do bad things. And also the Bible says many times that it was Pharaoh who hardened his own heart (7:22; 8:15, 19, 32).

Devotion 2 of 2: Ex 8
The magicians of Egypt could make frogs but they couldn’t make gnats! From this we learn that Satan can do miracles and signs to a certain point, but he cannot do all the miracles that God does because God is greater! The magicians turned their staffs into snakes, too, as Moses and Aaron did (7:8-12), but in the end, Aaron’s snake swallowed up theirs! Our God is greater! Hallelujah!
