One way Job defends himself is found in v.2, where he says (Paraphrased) "You think you're so smart..." and in v.3, "But I have a mind as well as you; I am not inferior to you!"

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 12
The biggest reason they couldn’t accept Jesus was because they thought He broke the Sabbath (v.2, 10). But their reasoning was wrong because God made the Sabbath for mankind's benefit, to give him rest from his job one day a week! But the Pharisees made the Sabbath law a legalistic set of rules that tried to punish Jesus for doing good, for healing a shriveled hand (v.10)!
