Devotion 1 of 2: Job 11
Zophar’s opinion of Job was that he was wicked and would die, as can be seen in v.20, when he says, “The eyes of the wicked will fail, and they shall not escape…loss of life.”

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 11
Eventually John the Baptist was martyred. He was killed when his head was cut off (Matt 14:1-12). This applies to the glorious last day church because many of her members will be martyred, and in the same way, by being beheaded (Rev 20:4)! Matt 11:6 also applies to the LDC. We should not be offended when we, also, are persecuted, imprisoned and martyred!
