Devotion 1 of 2: Isa 19
This chapter is mainly a prophecy of judgment against Egypt. But in v.18-25, a sudden change happens. God blesses Egypt with salvation and healing, then joins Assyria to Egypt, and finally adds Israel to the group and says they will be a blessing in the midst of the land!
Tom Hess, leader of the Jerusalem House of Prayer, believes this prophecy will be fulfilled in the last days. He calls it the Isaiah 19 Highway and believes it means that Egypt, Assyria and Israel will be worshiping and serving God together!
Let’s pray for Israel, Egypt, Syria, Iran, Iraq, and all the ME nations to hear the gospel, realize that Jesus is the true Son of God and accept him as the Savior of mankind!

Devotion 2 of 2: Luke 19
In v.41-44, Jesus spoke some very significant words. He predicted Jerusalem’s destruction, which came to pass in 70AD, and said it was because the Jews didn’t know the time of their visitation. The time of their visitation meant the time that the Messiah came down to them. Because they didn’t accept Jesus as their Messiah, their nation was destroyed!
These words apply to the LD. God will visit the earth with a great revival accompanied with great signs and wonders, but although many will accept it and get saved, many others in the world will reject it and even kill the LDC (Rev 11:7; 13:7). Because of this, God will hand them over to the disasters and judgments of T2, as described in Rev 8-10, 14-19.
Let’s intercede for the people of this world who don’t know who Jesus is and don’t understand we are living in the last days. O Lord, open the eyes of people from every nation and language to believe and receive you as the Savior of their lives!
