Devotion 1 of 2: Isa 6

SAT, 8/17 (1/2)
IS 6: Free sharing!
We see Isaiah encountering the Almighty Lord on the throne and receiving his calling in this chapter (v.1-8). This was like Moses’ burning bush (Ex 3) and Paul’s Damascus Road experiences (Acts 9:1-22). But although God called and sent Isaiah to preach to Judah, they did not listen or understand (v.9-13).
Let’s pray that we, too, would encounter the living God, be transformed and sent forth to preach to Japan! And let’s believe that, not like Isaiah, but rather, like Moses, the LDC of Japan will succeed in leading millions of souls out of darkness into salvation! Amen!

Devotion 2 of 2: Luke 6

Jesus ran into opposition from the religious establishment. The Pharisees criticized the disciples plucking grain and eating them on the Sabbath (v.2). They also opposed Jesus healing the withered hand on the Sabbath (v.6-11). But Jesus continued to heal and deliver people from unclean spirits, and this attracted great multitudes of people (v.17-19).
The LDC will be criticized by other churches who don’t understand God’s plan of revival in the endtime. They will sincerely believe we are wrong doctrinally and may even think we are heretical! Let’s study the Bible so we have confidence in God’s plan of LDR! And let’s pray for our brothers and sisters so their eyes can also be opened to the wonderful things God will do in the endtime!
