Devotion 1 of 2: Num 29
NUM 29: Answers!
(Background: The feasts symbolize major revivals in the restoration of the church. In Num 28, we saw the feast of Passover, which symbolizes the Protestant Reformation of 1517, and Weeks (or Pentecost), which symbolizes the Pentecostal Movement of 1906.)
1) Trumpets (v.1) – Latter Rain Revival of 1948 because trumpets were used to give directions to Israel (Num 10). This symbolizes prophecy, God’s directions to his people through the words of a prophet. Prophecy was restored in 1948 through the Latter Rain Revival, along with other truths, such as: Laying on of Hands, the 5-Fold Ministry, Praise and Worship, David’s Tabernacle, etc.
2) Day of Atonement – Last Day Revival (LDR) of 20?? because the church will enter the Holy of Holies and God’s presence will be revealed through the church to the world to bring forth revival.
3) Tabernacles – LDR of 20?? because this feast is the celebration of the grape harvest, which symbolizes the greatest harvest of souls in history with an uncountable number of people saved from every nation, tribe and language during the tribulation (Rev 7:9, 14).

Devotion 2 of 2: Num 30
This chapter teaches about a father or husband being a covering for a daughter or wife when she makes a vow. If they feel her vow was a rash utterance and not a good vow, they can overrule her and save her from a big mistake (v.5, 8).
This is an illustration of women having long hair as a symbol that she is under the covering of her father or husband, taught in 1 Cor 11:3, 5-6, 10, 13 & 15. They should cover her, not to control her, but to care for and protect her, like a man should protect a woman from someone who attacks her.
