Devotion 1 of 2: Ex 13

According to v.1, because God saved Israel by taking the lives of the firstborns of Egypt, he wanted Israel to consecrate and give their firstborns to him. God wanted to make them the priests of Israel. The church is called the Church of the Firstborn in Heb 12:22-23. Because God gave his firstborn Son, Jesus, to save us, he wants us to consecrate and give ourselves totally to him! If we do this, he will release the full firstborn blessing upon us and make his church genuine kings and priests on earth and pour out the double portion blessing upon us! Let’s consecrate ourselves to God and believe that the firstborn calling will be fulfilled in us in the LD!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ex 14

(2/2)
1) Just as Pharaoh chased after Israel and tried to capture them and force them to return to Egypt (v.5-12), Satan also goes after every person who accepts salvation and water baptism and tries to drag them back to their old life in the world.
2) But as Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, we should maintain our faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ! If we do so, God will give us complete victory over Satan (v.21-28)!
