Devotion 1 of 2: 2 Cor 11
In v.23-33, Paul reveals the many hardships and sufferings he received while ministering! Some of the most severe were: 5 times receiving 40 stripes minus 1 (v.24); 3 times beaten with rods; once stoned; 3 times shipwrecked (v.25)! How could he go through so much suffering and not abandon his faith? I think some reasons were: 1) His dramatic, miraculous conversion (Acts 9:1-9, 17-18)! 2) He saw many miracles through his ministry! 3) He saw thousands believe in Jesus through his preaching! 4) He died, went to heaven and saw and heard amazing things (2 Cor 12:2-4)! Let’s pray that we can have faith like Paul and also believe God will work through us to raise up strong converts like Paul in the endtime!

Devotion 2 of 2: Eccl 11
1) Once a person dies and goes to 1 of 2 places: heaven or the place of suffering, he cannot change his place.
2) If we think too much that conditions are not right for evangelism, we will not share the gospel or lead souls to salvation.
3) We should be ready to evangelize at any time because it’s always possible someone will get saved.
