Devotion 1 of 2: Ezra 5
Because of accusations by the enemy, the Jews’ reconstruction of the temple was stopped in chapter 4 (4:24). Things looked very bad. But in 5:1, the prophets Haggai and Zechariah prophesied over the Jews, and they began to rebuild again (v.2)! Prophets have an inspiring, motivating anointing that can lift churches over barriers that had previously stopped them! PTL for the 5-fold ministry! All 5 are needed!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ezra 6
1) The Jews wouldn’t stop rebuilding the temple, so Tattenai, the enemy, wrote to King Darius to see if Cyrus had really approved of the project or not (5:6-17). A copy of Cyrus’ decree was found (6:2), so Darius allowed the Jews to continue rebuilding the temple and even gave them abundant financial assistance to cover all their costs (6:7-8)! So God used the enemy to help in the restoration of the temple!
2) If we persevere, God can use even AC to help restore the church by driving out lukewarm and cold people and making the church hot (Rev 3:15-16) and fully committed to Jesus! This will bring revival and full restoration of the church!
