Devotion 1 of 2: 2 Cor 10
One of their criticisms was Paul’s writings were strong and authoritative, but his appearance was unimpressive and light (v.10). Paul answers this by saying what he writes in his letters he will do when he visits them (v.11)!

Devotion 2 of 2: Isa 34
This prophecy is referring to the Tribulation, a time of God judging the world and antichrist for rebelling against him. One thing that will happen is God will destroy the armies of the nations (v.2). This will take place at the Battle of Armageddon, when antichrist will gather the armies of many nations and attack Israel (Ezek 38-39; Zech 12-14; Rev 14-19). On the verge of annihilation, Israel will cry out to Messiah to save them. Jesus will appear, and they will see his wounds and realize that they killed their Messiah, Jesus! They will repent, be born again, and Jesus and his followers will defeat antichrist and his army (Zech 12:3-13:1).
