Devotion 1 of 2: Nah 1
Nahum the prophet wrote this book to Nineveh, the capital of Assyria (v.1). 100 years before, the prophet Jonah had preached to them, and they had repented, causing God to spare them from destruction (Jonah 3)!
But 100 years later, they were again worshiping idols (v.14) and plotting evil against the Lord (v.11), so God sent Nahum to pronounce a judgment of final destruction upon them. Like the prophets of old, God will use the LDC to declare judgment against AC and his forces in the endtime. Let’s be faithful to that calling!

預言者ナホムは、アッシリアの首都ニネベに対してこの書を書いた（1節）。その100年前、預言者ヨナが彼らに神の言葉を宣べ伝え、彼らは悔い改めたので、神は彼らを滅ぼすことを思い直された（ヨナ3章）。
しかし100年後、彼らは再び偶像を拝み（14節）、主に対して悪事を企んでいた（11節）。そこで神はナホムを遣わし、彼らに最終的な滅亡のさばきを宣告された。昔の預言者たちと同じように、神は終わりの時に終末教会を用いて、反キとその勢力に対するさばきを宣告される。その召しに忠実であろう！
Devotion 2 of 2: Luke 19
In v.41-44, Jesus wept over Jerusalem because He knew that in the future, the Roman army would surround the city and destroy it and kill the Jews or sell as slaves those who remained alive!
The reason for Jerusalem’s destruction was because they didn’t know the time of their visitation from Messiah! Why? Because it was hidden from their eyes! They couldn’t understand the parables in the OT concerning the Messiah! Let’s not be ignorant of God’s parables but instead, understand the time of our visitation in the last days!

41～44節で、イエスはエルサレムのために涙を流された。それは、将来ローマ軍がエルサレムを包囲して滅ぼし、ユダヤ人を殺し、生き残った者たちを奴隷として売ることを知っておられたからである！
エルサレムが滅ぼされた理由は、彼らがメシアによる訪れの時を知らなかったからである！ なぜ知らなかったのか。それが彼らの目から隠されていたからである！ 彼らは、旧約聖書にあるメシアについてのたとえを理解することができなかった！私たちは神のたとえを知らない者とならず、むしろ私たちに対する終末の神の訪れの時を悟ろう！
