Devotion 1 of 2: Nah 2
Assyria conquered Northern Israel in 722 BC but then was destroyed by Babylon in 612 BC. Nahum prophesied their destruction in v.7-13 and Israel’s restoration in v.2!
We will see this same scenario take place at the endtime, with AC persecuting both Israel and the church, but both being fully restored to glory despite the persecution. Then, in the end, AC will be destroyed by Christ’s return to the Mt. of Olives at the end of the tribulation. Let’s understand God’s endtime plan and not fear AC’s threats!

アッシリアは紀元前722年に北イスラエルを征服したが、その後、紀元前612年にバビロンによって滅ぼされた。ナホムは7-13節でアッシリアの滅亡を預言し、2節ではイスラエルの回復を預言している！
終わりの時にも、これと同じようなことが起こる。反キはイスラエルと教会の両方を迫害するが、その迫害にもかかわらず、イスラエルも教会も完全に回復され、栄光に満ちたものとなる。そして最後には、大患難の終わりにキリストがオリーブ山に再臨し、反キを滅ぼす。神の終わりの時のご計画を理解し、反キの脅しを恐れないようにしよう！
Devotion 2 of 2: Luke 20
V.1-8 show that the Jews accepted and respected John the Baptist as a prophet! However, they didn’t fully understand that John was the fulfillment of Malachi’s Elijah prophecy in Mal 4:5-6. If they had, they would have recognized Jesus as Messiah because Malachi had prophesied that Elijah would come before Messiah.
Instead of recognizing Jesus, a few days later, many of the Jews shouted, “Crucify Him!” before Pilate, leading to Christ’s crucifixion! Let’s understand Elijah of the endtime so we can grasp God’s LD plan and cooperate with Him to bring it to pass!

1-8節を見ると、ユダヤ人たちはバプテスマのヨハネを預言者として受け入れ、尊敬していたことが分かる。しかし、ヨハネがマラキ4:5-6にあるエリヤの預言の成就であることを、彼らは十分に理解していなかった。もし理解していたなら、マラキがメシアの前にエリヤが来ると預言していたので、イエスがメシアであることを認めることができたはずである。
しかし、彼らはイエスをメシアとして認めず、数日後、多くのユダヤ人がピラトの前で「十字架につけろ！」と叫び、キリストの死をもたらした！私たちも終わりの時のエリヤについて理解し、神の終末のご計画を悟り、その成就のために神とともに働こう！
