Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 5

V.2 says, “Give heed to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for to You I will pray.” Beside our individual prayer time, at SI, we also have our Shalom International Revival Prayer (SIRP). It is a wonderful time of crying out to God for revival for Japan and for many other needs.
We do SIRP the first 10 days of the month, from 9:30 to 10:30 PM. We are doing it right now for May from the 7th to the 16th because we wanted to avoid the Golden Week holidays. It’s a great time of joining hearts with other SI prayer warriors!

Devotion 2 of 2: Mark 5

Jesus did 3 mighty miracles in this chapter. I want to focus on the 2nd miracle of a woman who finally was healed by Jesus after trying many doctors for many years, but not getting help, and only getting worse (v.25-34).
She is a symbol of the many people who come to church, seeking help to solve their various problems, in health, marriage, work, finances, etc. But no matter how hard they try, it doesn’t work. That’s why we want to be a church in which people can touch Jesus and have their need met. Let’s seek God to grow into that kind of church.
