Devotion 1 of 2: Lev 8
This chapter describes the consecration and ordination of the High Priest and other priests of Israel. The process stretched out for 7 days and was a thorough cleansing and consecration process (v.33).
On 3/28, I participated as part of the Ordination Council for Faith’s installation as pastor. It was not as long and thorough as Aaron and his sons’ process, but it also conveyed the concept that a pastor must be consecrated to God and the calling that God has given him. Let’s pray that Faith will be anointed and used by God!

Devotion 2 of 2: Acts 8
This chapter describes Philip, another deacon who served the Jerusalem widows (6:5), being scattered by persecution to Samaria (v.1). Once more, Philip is a model of how God elevates one who serves to become a mighty vessel of God! Philip was used in supernatural miracles, bringing revival to the city of Samaria (v.5-8)!
Let’s learn to be servants! Let’s humble ourselves so that God can lift us up in His timing and use us to bring revival to Japan and the world! Here am I, Lord, use me!

この章では、エルサレムのやもめたちに仕えていたもう一人の執事、ピリポ（6:5）が迫害によってサマリアに散らされた（1節）様子が描かれています。ピリポは、神が仕える者をいかに高め、力強い神の器へと変えてくださるかを示す、もう一人の模範です。ピリポは超自然的な奇跡に用いられ、サマリアの町全体にリバイバルをもたらしたのです（5-8節）。
