Devotion 1 of 2: Job 32
The young man Elihu finally speaks from this chapter. Sometimes it’s not the elders who have the answer but the younger (v.4-5)! Elihu was angry at Job for justifying himself rather than God, and at Job’s 3 friends for not finding the answer, yet condemning Job (v.2-3!
In the end, Elihu somehow helps bring a breakthrough, so that Job hears God’s voice and finds the answer he needs to solve his problem! So let us study Elihu’s words in chapters 32-37 to learn some keys to counseling!

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 28
When the chief priests heard that Jesus’ tomb was empty, they bribed soldiers to lie that Jesus’ disciples stole His body at night (v.11-13). They wanted to control the narrative and hide the truth of Jesus’ resurrection.
Political leaders do this form of corruption all the time. If they are not stopped, they will eventually corrupt the whole society. In the USA, while arresting immigrants, some ICE agents killed 2 citizens who were protesting. The government quickly announced the 2 were trying to kill ICE agents, but videos showed they were peaceful.
