Devotion 1 of 2: Gen 45
Joseph dramatically reveals himself to his brothers in this chapter (v.3)! They are so overwhelmed, they cannot answer him at first! But what Joseph repeats to them 4x is one of the most powerful truths in the Bible! What was it?
Joseph says in v.5, “But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life.” This is repeated in v.7, v.8 and 50:20! The NT version is Rom 8:28 (CEB), “We know that God works all things together for good…” Let’s make this truth a foundation in our lives!

Devotion 2 of 2: Gen 46
This chapter describes Israel’s move from the Promised Land, Canaan, to Egypt. The reason was to escape the famine in the region. This sets the stage, 400 years later, for Israel to return back to Canaan, which was the most significant journey in history!
Israel’s return to Canaan is described in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy and Joshua. The 3-part journey of Egypt, Wilderness and Canaan, symbolizes the church’s 3 major steps in restoration to the glorious church in the endtime. This LDC will bring about a world-wide revival and the end of this world age!
