Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 29

Sometimes the voice of the Lord can be small and tender, like when He spoke to Elijah (1King 19:11-13), and sometimes it can be powerful and majestic (v.4). When he poured out the Holy Spirit upon me in 1964, his voice was truly majestic! It was a powerful and dramatic experience that changed my life forever!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ps 30

I’d like to share about a pastor’s son’s experience. He studied in the U.S. for 1 year in his 3rd year in jr. high. He wanted to continue, but the U.S. Embassy wouldn’t give him a student visa, even though he prayed hard for it! So he had to return to 3rd year jr. high in Japanese school, but his classmates went on to high school! So it was a great trial and a humbling experience for him. But he met a girl in his class, led her to church, and later on, they married! If he hadn’t dropped back one year, they would never have met and married! So God turned his wailing into dancing!
